GILLETTE AND WRIGHT PUBLIC SCHOOLS enroll nearly 7,436 students.  The district-wide student/teacher ratio is 14:1.  All students have access to the Internet.  The ratio of computers to students is 1:4.

The District’s 24 facilities include:

            1 High School Center – two campuses
            1 Junior/Senior High School
            1 Alternative Transitional School
            2 Junior High Schools
          15 Elementary Schools (3 Rural)
            1 Aquatic Center

SPECIAL EDUCATION:  The Northeast Wyoming Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) provides educational, technical, vocational, diagnostic and counseling services to assist school districts in meeting the needs of students with disabilities.  

HIGHER EDUCATION:  Gillette Campus is an accredited community college offering certificate and transferable degree programs, personal enrichment classes and technological training.  In addition, distance-learning options are available for completion of bachelor and master degree programs from participating universities.
